is the bottom part of my 4 floor standing speakers stands or not! from myLG 6 SPEAKER CINEMA SURROUND SOUND?

CAN ANYBODY TELL ME: I HAVE PURCHASED AN LG 6 SPEAKER CINEMA SURROUND SOUND SYSTEM MODEL LH-T550TB. THE 4 TALL FLOOR SPEAKERS (FRONT AND REAR) IS THE BOTTOM PART JUST THE STANDS,THEREFORE RECIEVE NO SOUND FROM THEM. CURRYS TELL ME BOTTOM PART ARE ALL STANDS,BUT LG TELL ME THE BOTTOM PART OF FRONT SPEAKERS SHOULD RECIVE SOUND,BUT THE BOTTOM PART OF REAR SPEAKERS ARE STANDS ONLY!! HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. I install these Daily and I can categorically state that the bottom part of the speaker is only stand , all round . However it does carry wire through it so that when you click the two parts of the speaker together the top half connects to the bottom half and carries the sound so you do need the two halves on all 4 stand up speakers to be connected together
