I have this plant that needs to be identified, anyone help?

The info card that was in it says it's a tropical plant, most prefer med light, moist soil, and a home temperature of 55-80 degrees. The leaves are green in color with red veins, i measured it and it was just under a foot tall. the stems are bright green and pretty thin. My boyfriend says that at night this plants leaves should stand up. Can anyone help me or tell me where i can find out what plant this is?
