what is the flower that is growing on my faux house plant?

its the very tall rigid green and white long leaf standing plant its not a lily the plant stands about 4ft tall with very hard to the touch extentions with a very sharp point at the top of each plant the leafs are only 2 inches wide aand very tall i have had the plant for years and this is the first time this has grown it looks like the white thing in the lilly but no leaf arroun it
