Looking for Gold decoration ideas for a cupcake wedding cake.?

I have been asked ot make a cupcake wedding cake for this weekend (YIKES, nothing like short notice). The wedding colours are gold and olive green. Does any one have any ideas for decorating thecupcakes/cake stand with things that are gold???

1. There is this thing called "gold foil", it's a thin thin layer of "gold" like material and I'm almost positive it's edible. Michael's has it. You could put brown frosting with gold foil and olive green detail maybe- depending on how creative you are :) Good luck!
2. What about little gold ribbons around the base of the cupcake, or a pretty gold bow for decoration on top.
3. hi, I am a cake maker here in adelaide and i tell you the cupcake wedding cake is so nice. For start i dont have any photos in gold looked through all my online alburms but nothing, Now if you are having a cake ontop a small round one like most do. You can use a gold ribbon around it, You can get some gold stars to stick out of the top. Now if you have anyother colour in the wedding i would ice the cup cakes in that colour and bake the cup cakes in a gold cups. You can have the stand in gold as well. good luck
4. Wilton now makes gold luster dust. You can "paint" scroll work or flowers with it. Use the olive green for the leaves and put a flower on each with the gold dust. Use gold foil cups for the liners. Check www.cakecentral.com for ideas.
