- NO!
- Yes, have seen this at the past few weddings I've been at. Don't know how to link pics, but check with your local wedding rental shop - they rent the stands, so maybe they have pics. Or check with bakers.
- I've never seen that before. As long as the cakes are at different heights, it should look alright.
- I don't have a pic..but have seen this done several times..with different types of cakes..including a cheesecake wedding...yum..but they have tiers..with lights now..just go to a larger bakery in the city..or baking stores that specialize in that..or get on line for ideas...its a great one...! good luck.
- you can go to theknot.com they have alot of cakes you can look at from peoples weddings..also you can go to your bakery and they should have alot of books you can look at..good luck
- Here's one that's tiered with glass blocks (kinda cool) http://www.debbiescakeart.co.uk/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/.pond/kate1a.jpg.w180h278.jpg Here's one that looks like what you described. Couldn't find a 3 or 4 tier picture, but here's a 2 tier. http://www.medwedsltd.com/pictures/square_cakes.jpg

- This place is fabulous. Actually have them on my site, thought they're clear across the country. Just a few of her designs http://www.utahcakes.com/cakethirtynine.html http://www.utahcakes.com/cakesixtyfour.html http://www.utahcakes.com/cakethirtyeight.html http://www.utahcakes.com/caketwentyseven.html I think this one would be gorgeous if it were on separate stands http://www.utahcakes.com/cakefortyeight.html
- This look is so awesome. I think I may do it for my own wedding. The squares sound so modern! I love it! I hadn't thought of squares before... Oh yeah, FYI Wal-mart does wedding cakes as well. They will separate them, and they actually look gorgeous. They use regular icing, however, if that's a problem.
- i don't have a pic, wish i did, but my grandmother made a cake for a cousin's wedding... it was three cakes on each side with a champagne fountain in the middle, stairs going over it from the fountain from one set of cakes to the other and the bride/groom figurines were at the top of the stair case. they were round cakes but i think it would look ok with square cakes.
- My aunt's wedding cakes were all in 5 separate stands and it was nice because the stands were see through and there were roses inside them. here are some I found, I think this is a good choice. My wedding cake was all separate too, but different than this. http://www.pmachinehowto.com/howtogallery/wedding_cakes_medium.png http://www.weddingfads.com/ProductImages/pink%20wedding%20cakes%20small.jpg http://www.andies.cashhosters2.com/images/Wedding_Cake2.jpg http://www.cakesbyjoann.com/graphix/wedding_cakes.jpg http://www.amishacres.com/images/aa_special_events/wedding_cakes.jpg
- I think this is called a satellite cake, check google for this term.
