flat back vertical gun stand to hold up to 7 guns?

I wish to display a number of WWII deactivated rifles but have failed to find a company in the UK who makes these items

  1. Try LL Bean in the US. Based in Portland, Maine, they are a hunting and fishing outfitter and have a number of hunting racks that might work for you.
  2. I have an internet page for you to link to below. This nice gentleman has an extensive collection of Russian Mosin rifles and has a page dedicated to his home built gun racks to store and display them. It's quite detailed, giving plans and pictures for many styles of racks. I'm sure one will work great on your collection and purposes. If you aren't a woodworker, I'm sure a cabinet maker or carpenter in your area can take the designs and craft you someting for not too much. A nice dark chestnut stain and some polyurethane varnish and it'll look like furniture. You could also incorporate a locking rod or cable for extra security. I have an extensive collection of battle rifles from WWI and WWII as well. Both Enfields, SMLE 3 and No.4 Mk1, German Gwhr 98 and K98k, US 1903 Springfield, P1917 (thanks Brits!) M1 Garand, Jap T99 Arisaka, Italian Carcano, French MAS 36, Swiss K31, Austrian M95 Mannlicher, Russian M91, 91/30, M38, M44, Swede 38, Czech VZ24, Turk 1893, 1903 and M38. Plus I have a few Yugo M48s and South American Mausers. No M1 Carbine yet! One difference in my collection is I have shot most all of mine and still do many of them. I compete in matches called John C. Garand matches, but every so often we put down the M1s and use any military bolt from the 20th century. I use my Brit No. 4Mk1 or my Swiss K31. Very nice shooting rifles. If you ever make a trip here to west Texas, I'd be happy to spend a day at the range with you! Cheers!
  3. I found 2 that you could order but they are not in the UK, but in the USA. Hope this helps http://www.artdisplay.com/index.cfm?do=detail&categoryid=37&item=Flat%20Back%20Vertical%20Gun%20Stand http://www.gunstands.com/rifle.htm D58
