What women are attracted to a man with a "strong & silent" type personality?

Some women prefer men who have a "life of the party" or outgoing and chaterbox kind of a personality and that is fine. I am not that kind of guy for I exhibit myself as a classic "strong & silent" confident type of personality which I enjoy. What kind of women would prefer to have a relationship with a guy who exhibits these personality traits of "strong & silent"? Is there a "opposites attract" guideline here where women who are real outgoing and social butterflies might prefer this, or would women who exhibit similiar personalities find attraction here? I know all women want different things in a man they desire, but what are your thoughts on this question?

1. I'm very shy, and I like that.
2. I like strong and silent and mystery, but I like someone who talks to me, I like to talk. So I don't mind a silent person cause i am reserved and really shy in front of people too but when someone gets to know me I like to know what's on their mind I guess. Also I love a sense of humour and a convo that flows naturally and if they are awkward to talk to and I feel judged then not really. They would have to be warm smiled and friendly.
3. I don't know if there is an opposite attract thing or not. I like someone who is either way, but of course if someone was too outgoing, I would not feel comfortable with them. For one thing, i am more on the shy side and so I don't really have a lot to say sometimes in groups. The last person I dated was more like that, and everyone thought he was such a doll. It doesn't matter a whole lot, unless the person is just too different in every way as well or if they don't understand and respect that i'm a quieter person. So, I kind of like the more silent type.
