What women are attracted to a man with a "strong & silent" type personality?

Some women prefer men who have a "life of the party" or outgoing and chaterbox kind of a personality and that is fine. I am not that kind of guy for I exhibit myself as a classic "strong & silent" confident type of personality which I enjoy. What kind of women would prefer to have a relationship with a guy who exhibits these personality traits of "strong & silent"? Is there a "opposites attract" guideline here where women who are real outgoing and social butterflies might prefer this, or would women who exhibit similiar personalities find attraction here? I know all women want different things in a man they desire, but what are your thoughts on this question?

1. There are so many different types of people in the word and so many of them can't even fall into a specific category. It's just easier to know who wait around are and then wait around for someone to admire it. All different types of women like all different types of men.
2. I like the silent type over the life of the party but would prefer a happy medium really. In some cases, opposites attract. Others want a mate who fits into their lifestyle.
