What kinds of technology do museums use to protect exhibits?

I need to know for my girl scout IPA, but I can't find anything online.

1. Best would be to visit a museum and interview a guard. they use guards, cameras,and various sensors for motion, proximity, humidity, and heat. They use air conditioning and windows which filter out harmful light. A museum is a very controlled environment,protecting the art from damage from a variety factors from thieves to insects.
