While watching the Food Networks/Channels/Shows, how often do you take notes?

I have, dozens of times. And I'm not even a committed culinarian. How about you?

1. i do. i love cooking. especially italian food. believe it or not, there's more to italian food than just pasta and pizza.
2. It depends on the show- but yes I do take notes! I don't bother with it while watching shows like Martha Stewarts ones because they use different names for things and imperial measures rather than metric like the rest of the world! However, I usually record programs like ready steady cook or river cottage so that I can rewind and take more extensive notes on techniques. Recipes I usually go to the shows website for rather than trying to write them down!
