I tried to put the cable inside the home theater speaker stands but it didn't work since it sticks every time.?

Can anybody help me?

  1. I assume you are trying to "thread" a speaker wire through the stand to conceal it within. Without seeing the exact stand, I can only guess how it looks, but, here are some things I'd try. 1) Tape the speaker wire to the end of a straightened coat hanger. Push it through... 2) Tie the wire to a fishing weight and drop it down to pull the wire down from the top, then somehow fish it out. 3) Always cut off the wire ends... you'll have a lot easier time threading a wire without those bushy, copper ends. Once it's where you need it, strip the housing and plug it in. 4) If all else fails, tape or staple the wire neatly to the outside of the stand, using a staple gun or tape of a similar color to the stand.
