- Job. Basically, the myth that God allowed Satan to destroy his life, his family, everything he knew, in order to get Job to curse God. But Job didn't, he believed in God and that God had a plan for him.
- Job's a big favorite. Noah too. Jesus is supposed to be the biggest endurance and great difficulty go-to guy. Some say the juries out.
- I believe Abraham was the one who showed the most patience. Jesus being the first. Abraham was told to sacrifice his son Isaac and he almost did it. If not for God telling him otherwise, he would have killed isaac. I believe it was them two but correct me if i'm wrong.
- Jesus for all the obvious reasons. He loves us even though we constantly whine and push his buttons. Never gets tired of us, always ready to forgive and defend us. He very willingly died for us. other than that- All I have to say is Job. That guy was a machine as far as faith.
- The Egyptians - God was always bothering those people.
- Jeptha when he showed that his love for God and keeping his promise to God was greater than his love for his only daughter. He felt really sad when he had to sacrifice his daughter to God. It was months because he waited for his daughter to bewail her virginity with her friends before she was sacrificed, so Jeptha was sad for a long time. But at the end of it all he showed courage and had his daughter sacrificed.
- Joseph stands out in my mind - sold by his brothers, put into prison after being falsely accused of attempted rape, forgotten in jail for two years. He forgave his brothers, helped the other prisoners and still interpreted the dreams of Pharaoh without knowing what the outcome of his actions would be.
