How do you clean velvet-like jewelry displays?

I have some off-white jewelry displays I bought at a yard sale to use at craft shows. I want to clean them up and have tried a hand-held steamer but it didn't work. Im not sure what fabric they are made of but it is like velvet. Any suggestions?

1. A q-tip and some rubbing alcohol.
2. Depends on what you are trying to clean them of. If you are trying to clean fuzz/hairs, try a lint-roller or lint remover. Other than that, I would say try the q-tip & rubbing alcohol like someone else mentioned.
3. You can take it to the jewelry store and ask them to clean it for you, besides you can also ask the jeweler what are they made of.
