Exhibits, Shows and Displays

Are reality tv shows having an effect on young people's ambition?

A lot of the them appear to show that if you've got looks and not much else, (I'm thinking VH1 shows, Housewives, playboy mansion etc) then don't worry about being a productive part of society, just go on a reality show, get your flesh out on display and you will get paid with a chance of winning the $100,000 as well. There's some good reality tv as well though.

  1. Yes, many shows try to brainwash people into wanting to be a star. A few will succeed but the vast majority will have all sorts of complexes that will make them just want to buy a bunch of useless junk to drown their sorrows. That, in turn, drives the economy because it creates artificial demand that keeps the makers of the useless junk in business and their workers employed. It also forces people to get whatever job they can find to pay for it all. If everyone only bought necessities, then there would be huge unemployment because it only takes about 10% of the workforce to provide the true necessities. So the stuff you see on tv is part of an elaborate social engineering scheme, make no mistake about it.
  2. The culture is so shallow that someone like Megan Fox is an enormous success just having a body that men lust for. Why educate? Why practice music, voice, writing, or sports, if you just have that, you've become "all that" ?! Our fault as a culture.
