Is it time we scrapped all these boring reality-tv shows and brought back Blind Date ?

regardless of whether you loved Blind Date or not, it'd be interesting to see how that show would do in this era. Also if Cilla Black couldn't host it, maybe we ought to get somebody like Denise van Houton or Kelly Brook or somebody like that to do it. and if it was brought back would you consider going on that show ?

1. yes, i`m sick of all the reality shows and all the shallow wannabe famous people that go on them. big brother has had it`s day too.
2. Blind Date was a great show and it was ahead of its time with the pop ups and funny date moments. Great show and would love for that to be back instead of all this dancing, singing, losing weight, getting a job, surviving, big brother, real world, road rules, make over crap.
3. omg! that would be great =D ! i loved blind date, have no idea who could replace cilla black tho, she's a legend! and i would definately go on the show (if i wasnt married) and whether u find ur true love on show or not it would be a great experience, it would definatley make for better tv than the tedious reality shows they have now! =D

7. Haha, I used to love that show. I still like X Factor though, but things like Big Brother should definately be scrapped. Zzzzzzzzzzz.
8. Blind date was alright at first as it was genuine people wanting a date, but after a while it had too many posers who just wanted to be celebs and couldn't have cared who the other person was.
9. Yes,we need to bring back things like blind date,surprise surprise, and we also need to bring back game shows that have civillians taking part and not celebrtity this and that. Why celebrity family fortunes, for example?

11. omd blind date, it was my favourite program when i was like 8/9. It was so funny with Cilla Black, wouldn't be the same with a younger model. All us guys instead would be lusting after kelly/denise instead of the contestant lol

Yes...I'd love to see something like Blind Date come back but not with Denise Van Houton or Kelly Brook hosting...it would have to be our Cilla and the format should not be messed around with to modernise it in any way.... I'm sick to death of seeing Z list celebrities, dancing, cooking, singing, looking up their ancestors, rushing all over the world on 'jollies' or into the jungle and when you really think they can do no more... they turn up in adverts, at book signings and hosting awards and that's only Mylene Klass..lol Wouldn't it be great if Cilla went back all those years to catch up with some of the contestants to see what they are doing now..bet there would be a 'lorra lorra' Surprise Suprises there..Jac x
16. i LOVED blind date, i wish that was on again. cilla would have to present it though.

18. I used to love Blind Date and it wouldn't be the same without Cilla! I wouldn't go on it because I think my hubby might get upset!
19. blind date was more fake then sun tans on come dancing it was sh*t questions full of puns scripted for the contestants that were supposed to be funny " number one i go fishing on a sunday how could you REEL me in with your charm" cue high pitch squeals of laughter from the OAP filled audience "number two would you be a good CATCH" the 74 year old granny in the front row has to leave the studio to change her rubber pants as the joke made her over spill and then the last question all ways had to be smutty "number three how would you handle my ROD" a fleet of ambulances have to rush to the studios to give oxygen to the audience as they've all feinted through lack of breath for laughing so much
