How can I make a square cake fit on a round cake stand?

I ordered 3 square cakes and I'm planning on putting them on round cascading cake stands. How do I do that? Should I enforce my stand with round cake drums or square cake drums?

1. the square cakes should be smaller than the circle cake stands
2. Cut out square cardboard pieces and colored wax paper, and use them. Should work. An idea.
