What are the best broadway shows to see?

Me and my family are going to NYC in a few weeks, and we want to see a broadway show. What are some good family friendly shows?

4. I just went to NYC, and my family and I went to go see Shrek. It was hilarious. Your whole family will be laughing. ....I sound like an advertisement...O_O

6. I've seen Mamma Mia, The Color Purple, Les Miserables and I think that's it... It all depends what's on Broadway right now. I think the shows that I've watched are probablyr closed by now.... Um, Probably Wicked or Phantom of the Opera?
7. I hear Wicked is a good show to watch.

9. Spamalot and Phantom Of The Opera are personal faves :p ...but they're not really "family friendly" i guess lol.. but they are awesome! How about Little Mermaid?

11. well some gecks might say something like Catz or Wicked but i say watch pay per view
