What healthcare issue stands out the most to you?

Which moral or ethical healthcare issue stands out the most to you or which issue needs the most attention right now in your opinion?

1. Doctors need the most attention right now. Since they, you know... are the health care system...
2. the fact that those who oppose health care reform in congress get the best medical care...paid for by people that could never afford that level of care
3. The fact that democrats want to socialize healthcare..... God help us...
4. The fact that those who oppose a public option and any other ideas for health care reform brought about by the democrats are coming up with no alternatives.
5. The biggest issue to me is the coverage of preexisting conditions with any universal health care plan. While there are some conditions that cannot be helped that do deserve some coverage, the blanket coverage for preexisting coverage is a terrible idea. 2/3 of America is overweight or obese --- which leads to a wide array of medical problems. Millions of Americans smoke or use tobacco. Millinos more are drug or alcohol abusers. All of these behaviors create illnesses that cost billions of dollars in medical treatments and are all preventable by the individual. If an individual does not care about themeselves enough to live healthy, I don't care enough to give them 1 PENNY for health care. Obestiy, tobacco use, alcohol or drug abuse gets you dropped or denied for coverage and I may reconsider my position.
6. my seven stitches cost me $1,100. why was that bill so high? i can't afford my deductible or let alone the weekly payment to obtain insurance. my sister can't get covered because she is already sick. no preexisting conditions.
