After I upload anew version of a page the old one still displays. How can I force it to be replaced?

The new page is definitely there and, even if I delete the old page before uploading, it still displays the old version!

  1. By clicking on Refresh or pressing F5.
  2. If you are talking about web pages, then try holding down the SHIFT key when you click the RELOAD icon on your browser. Web pages are "cached" so that they do not need to be constantly downloaded if one keeps going to the same web page. Using the SHIFT key will force a new download. If the web page still does not show the latest updated version, then it may be due to the web server "cache", which is feeding you your web page, not being refreshed. In that case, you will just have to wait a bit.
