Las Vegas Shows and Tickets?

I'm visiting Las Vegas for the first time at the end of this month. Where is the best place to buy show tickets? Are there any low cost deals to be had? Can you recommend a good show from your own experience? We are a retired couple. Thanks for looking and the best answer (my choice) can have a postcard from us!

  1. cirque de solei ( spelled wrong ) is a great show. the dancing and accrobatics are amazing. Check the site below. sometimes they have show specials, they change all the time.
  2. Any cirque show, le reve, blue man group or any other big show's are going to be nearly impossible to find discounted tickets. If you want to see one of those I recommend booking in advance. They do have ticket boxes that sell discounted tickets, but you are unlikely to find any on the big shows. The best deals are probably to be had at cheapovegas.com or smartervegas.com
  3. I believe there is a place on the strip across from the Monte Carlo by the huge Coca Cola bottle that sells discount tickets. It might be called Tickets4Less? Not sure. Yeah, Cirque shows are great, but there is a lot of good entertainment to be had. Do you like Frankie Valle? Try the Jersey Boys or magic? Try Lance Burton, it's old Vegas kinda stuff but I like it.(Besides he is a great guy.) Have fun, look around.
  4. Here is a link for discounted tickets for the better shows. The second is for the regular shows. Good luck! *
  5. I would recommend Mystere or Love (Beattles tribute), both cirque shows and fantastic Phantom of the Opera LeReve Jersey Boys Tournament of Kings (only dinner show) Tickets are discounted to the people who stay at that property. Do not get involved with one of those high safes pitched time share deals for free show tickets.
  6. at the box office
  7. A great place for discount show tickets is here http://www.goldstar.com/?p=f691450ff27 You have to sign up for the site to purchase tickets, but it is free to sign up and a great site with really great deals. The most popular shows on there right now are Blue Man Group for $65-$90 (regular $102-$142), Penn and Teller for $53 (regular $85), and Le Reve for $83 (regular $142). There are also many others on there to choose from. Just sign up and take a look. I would definitely recommend seeing a Cirque Du Soleil show while you are there. I have only seen Mystere, but it was beautiful and I didn't want it to end. I've heard all of the Cirque shows are similar with different themes. "O" at Bellagio and "KA" at MGM Grand are supposed to be the best. You might be able to find some discounts here http://smartervegas.com/shows.aspx A lot of the Cirque shows are 25% off. You can also try the Tix4Tonite booths on the strip. They offer deep discounts on shows and restaurants, but only for that day. They sell out fast also, so there is usually a line when they open around 10am and you never know what they are going to offer for that day until they open. Whatever you choose to do, I hope you have fun. We go there every year, and are looking forward to our visit in September. We are planning to see Blue Man Group and "O".
  8. When we went to Vegas for the first time in 07 we saw Cirque Du Soleil "O", which is based all on water and amazing. The acrobatics are just unbelievable. We also saw the Blue Man Group. They were my favorite by far. They are absolutely hilarious, and they don't even talk!!! For Cirque Du Soleil O you could go to http://www.bellagio.com/o-cirque-du-soleil/o-cirque-du-soleil.aspx For the Blue Man Group you can go to http://www.bluemanticketing.com/
  9. Hi There, I went to Las Vegas last month and had an excellent time - you can buy tickets from tix4tonight and I think there are 6-7 of them on the strip. They sell tickets for that night, some are even half price. If you are looking to go to any of the cirque shows (they are very popular) I would purchase them before you go, as I really wanted to see one of these shows and they never had any at the tix4tonight. I went to the Titanic Exhibition, this is at the Luxor, I'm sure the tickets were $12.50 at tix4tonight and I also went to see the magician Lance Burton at The Monte Carlo hotel, tickets were $40 form tix4tonight They also do deals on resturants. If you would like more information on Vegas please go to - www.tripadvisor.co.uk and go into there Las Vegas forums, everyone in the forum are really friendly and will answer any questions you may have. I would have been lost without this site - it helped me plan most of my trip! Hope this helps
