Best Las Vegas shows?
My boy friend and I are turning 21 over the summer and are planning a trip to Las Vegas... what are some of the best shows to go to?

- There are 6 cirques, I would recommend Mystere or Love (Beattles tribute) but NOT Cris Angel. Phantom of the Opera LeReve Jersey Boys Tournament of Kings (dinner show) Jubilee Lance Burton
- I didn't like the Cirque du Soliel show I saw personally, but many people like them. My favorites have been Blue Man and Phantom. I didn't even expect to like Phantom but it was very good.
- Wayne Brady at the Venetian is the best value for a comedy show- take advantage of this hidden gem. O, LOVE, Phantom, and Jersey Boys are, without a doubt the four best shows in Vegas. O is the only show at the Bellagio, and is a heartrendingly beautiful show. I highly recommend it. It was my first Vegas show, and it hasnt been topped yet. I wouldnt see LOVE unless you're familiar with the Beatles history. I enjoyed it with no knowledge of Beatles music, but you'll like it better if you do know about it. Phantom is a wonderful show for the price- the performers are great, and it's a wonderful way to spend your 95 minutes. Jersey Boys is my entire family's pick for best show. The performers are incredible, the story is interesting, and it's an overall wonderful experience. The next shows I'm about to mention I'm not positive are still open, as I haven't seen much about them. Carrot Top is wildly funny, and a great value for some crazy, adult humor. Le Reve is a good show, and a good value. It's a great option if you can't find another show for that night. I really would not recommend Blue Man Group or Mystere, but I realize I'm in the minority. Blue Man Group is an exercise in stupidity. I am an intelligent person, and saw the show as what it is- pointless drivel portrayed to have meaning, tricking the less intelligent into seeing some bigger purpose in exploding twinkies. Mystere is the creepiest show- making me extremely uncomfortable. I do not want to see a fat man in a diaper crawling around and following his "dada" (a front row guest- not an actor). The only enjoyable parts of the show were the clowns (always entertaining) and some of the acrobatics. The acrobatics are always enjoyable as long as cirque doesnt try to add anything more. Penn and Teller was a sad show- the grave of two wonderful entertainers who should have retired years ago. These are all the shows Ive seen that you guys may consider and are still open. I wouldnt recommend the Criss Angel show, due to the terrible reviews. I'm actually going to see Cher, Tony & Tina's Wedding, O (again), David Copperfield, and Ka this weekend, so if I remember, I'll update my answer with those new reviews. :)
- Few suggestions are KA, LOVE, O or Le Reve they are all cirque du soleil shows and are really good in my opinion. They are pretty much the most popular shows in vegas and are very good for couples in my opinion. They are all offer pretty big discounts right now you should check http://www.smartervegas.com/shows.aspx for discounts.
