What do you wear to shows in Las Vegas?

What do you wear to shows in Las Vegas? Are shorts ok or jeans? Or do you have to get dressed up?

  1. Vegas is a very casual town now. I have never really dressed up to go to shows. I wouldn't go any fancier than casual dress, but I have worn shorts and jeans many times to shows.
  2. You are fine. This is a casual town. I've been to Cesars on a Friday night and people are in Tuxes to Shorts. So never worry.
  3. You wear what ever you want. Shorts are fine as are dress clothes. I always dress somewhere in between since most shows are in the evening. Just be comfortable.
  4. Go ahead get dressed up. It was how it was in the early days of Vegas. Something more than TSHIRT/Jeans/shorts.
  5. Dress Casually!
  6. There is no dress code for shows or casinos in Vegas. However, there is for fine restaurants (country club casual or better) and there is for Clubs and Lounges (dress to impress). That being the case, it is not at all unusual to see people dressed all kinds of different ways at a show. The reason is that it depends on where they are going before or after the show. Another consideration is that it is usually very cold in Casinos and Theaters. They air condition them very heavily. Often, my wife brings something to put over her shoulders because she gets so cold. So while shorts may be acceptable, they are not practical for shows. *
  7. Most people come in comfy clothes, not dress up. No tank tops though or muscle shirts.
  8. Casual is fine. People get dressed up because they like to...I'd rather be comfortable, tho!
