What are some good television shows to watch?

My boyfriend and I have been interested in watching old or new series. Right now we are on season 3 of Dexter, and we recently finished the complete series of the Wire. Does anyone have any suggestions on good shows to watch? We figured that renting shows is cheaper than going out! Thank you!

2. i recommend watching japanese shows online some might think it is stupid or corny shows but they are actually addicting you can watch show on Mysoju.com (there if you go to drama/movie list at the top you can pick dramas by genre) or dramacrazy.net (that's just a regular place to watch shows) and i also like the show Lost you since the season is over you can watch it on abc.com also along with cupid and the unusuals

5. Watch 24 on FOX! I know that you got a lot of responses to this question, but this is the answer that you need to listen to. Trust me, 24 is awesome. It has everything that you could ever want in a TV show. Drama, action, romance, suspense, great irony & really good plot lines. But I will warn you, it's addictive. I love it 'cause there are so many twists & turns that you never saw coming. They finished up the seventh season in May, & you could probably find all seven seasons at Block Buster, or watch it online. I don't know if you know anything about it, but it's all in real time. Each season is one day. Each episode is one hour. There are 24 episodes in a season.... You get the point. It's basically about fighting terrorism & about a really awesome main character named Jack Bauer. He's like my favorite super hero ever. (even though he doesn't technically have super powers, but sometimes I wonder. lol) It's not the kind of show where you can just start watching at any point & still know what's going on. You have to start from the beginning, or at least the beginning of a season. And the first season is good, but don't judge the whole show just by the first season. Keep going after that. (If you start there) Every season is unique in it's own way, but once you watch the entire series, you'll find that it's really one big fantastic story. And that's one of the main reasons why it'll keep you hooked. Plus it makes the progression of each character really fascinating to watch. It comes on Monday nights on FOX. (when airing) CHOOSE 24! Seriously. I've seen a lot of TV shows, & it really is the best. After you've seen a few seasons, (if it takes that long) You won't ever like anything as much. But I can't explain it as well as the links below can. So you really should look at those. Well, I hope I could help. And I hope I could convice you. 6. We do the same thing. We download several seasons of a show we have never seen and then turn it into a few weeks of good cheap entertainment. We watched the whole Wire series this past Fall and loved it. Right now we are watching The Shield, http://www.grabaid.com/s/?k=the+shield Other shows that I like are... (No particular order) Secret Diary of a Call Girl No Heroics - Only six episodes but very funny Weeds Californication Entourage - Great show, about to start sixth season. Hope that helps.
7. i totally agree with gracey liz. i couldn't put it better myself. 24 is a super amazing show and it will keep u hooked from the start. from what u typed about the kind of shows you like, it sound like u would be really thrilled watching 24. hope u take our advice. lol
8. You can try 24 and heroes. 24 is so good that you cannot know the end until you watch them all.Heroes is Sci-fi series,in which lots of people have powers and stories among them ,then slowly unfolding the mystery .Maybe they can give you what you want .
