Help me please... Ebay?
I posted this in computers section but no one answered.... I know this section is far busier so here goes (copy pasted btw) Ive posted my quad bike onto ebay to sell and have just received a bid, very happy, however the persons profile says they live in the Netherlands and im from the UK. The page says buyer must collect and also displays my location. The question being... where would I stand if he wins the auction and is unable to collect it? The address for the auction is http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/YFZ-450-Quad-Bike-... I could do with help quickly as im panicking a bit... Ty :) He is a "new user" so its all a bit fishy.. Ive mailed him to ask him how he intends to collect so ill see what he says.

- Contact E-Bay. Use their tool section or FAQ.
- Contact the guy and tell him? If he bidded for your item, then he must know that it is a pick up item...or he's just a retard.
- if he bids and wins its his after he pays and he come to get it he can say i dont want it and files a claim you can file an d relist it and start over again
- The guy maybe really screwed you over if he can't collect and wins. You will have to ask ebay for your listing fee back and then put it up agian. Same with jerks who win and then never pay, you can't even leave bad feedback on them.
- ben,i pretty much live on ebay... ..has he got good feedback?..yes?..contact him..if no,or hes a new bidder remove his bid and block him from bidding anymore.. you remove his bid from you items selling page,to block him type ''bidder block'' in the help search box,it will take you to the page.once blocked he cant bid again...cos of the changes to ebay sellers can NO LONGER GIVE BUYERS NEGATIVE FEEDBACK so theres stuff being won and not payed for,its totally buggerd it up for us sellers. ps,your ebay link didnt work. EDIT AS PER YOU UPDATE....BAN AND BLOCK HIM...he wont pay or even contact you...mark my words.
- I realize this may sound dumb, but do you not have a common-carrier transport and freight system over there? Hey, if you have put on your sale page its a pick up item only its his problem. If you are taking the responsibility to ship it, then just make sure he understands the rates and the total pricing including freight. You will have to crate the thing up and make it conform to the freight company's guidelines. Don't even pick up the hammer until your money CLEARS the bank.
