Do you enjoy reality shows on TV, or would you like a return of variety shows?

Considering the demographics of this website, I'm betting most of you enjoy reality TV. But I think for the best interest of society we should return to more entertaining variety shows. Which do you prefer?

1. Actually I am getting quite bored of reality shows now.
2. Drama, satire, adventure and comedy--set in the present, the past, the U.S. past, the future, on other planets, plus travel shows, shows about animal behavior, variety shows, arts specials, intelligent historical or other non-fiction reenactments and documentaries, concerts by adults who can really sing--yes, anything would be preferable to so-called reality shows, in my judgment.
3. Depending on the Reality TV Show that you watch, there can be more similarities to the old variety shows than there are differences. I actually think that although many of them are annoying, they are a natural progression from what used to be. Personally, I like cooking shows, and I really like cooking Reality TV. I get food, drama and comedy all packed into one hour.
