should i put feet underneath the stand of my aquarium?
i have a 6ft aquarium stand and hood. at the moment i am waiting for a new tank to be made because the removal men broke it :( A few of the plastic feet had ben ripped off the bottom of the tank stand. Should i replace these before the new tank arrives or is it not necessary? I am extremely upset about the tank braking, infuriated is a better way of putting it. All the fish are currently in about 6 huge plastic tubs with filteration. We have lost two though. :(

- They are shock absorbers, so replacing them is a good idea. Have a look about and see if you can find something suitable that will do the same job. Wood is better and the bigger the socks the better they work cushioning the weight. The larger the surface of base the less damage it will do to your carpet. I would be extremely upset if the removal men had broke a six foot tank of mine. I hope there is no homeless fish. Edit: Depending on how long the new tank will take to arrive you have problems. Plenty of aeration on top of the filtration and cycle all the tank gravel and ornaments in a tub. Don't let them sit and dry out. You need as much ready to use material to go when the tank arrives. Bad situation.
