What 2 TV Shows or 2 movies that are good to compare and contrast?

I have to compare 2 shows or 2 movies (NOT1 movie & 1 show). What are good ones that have many qualities in common, but also many things that are different about the movies or shows? if you can, can you add some contrasts and comparisons? Also, I need 2 movies/shows with similarities and differences that are not too obvious.

1. I,Robot and Eagle Eye are 2 good movie compare/contrasts very interesting thrillers. Compare: government conspiracy and control and how they will lead to our democracy's demise. Contrast: I,Robot is about how our reliance to technology can bring about problematic issues. Eagle Eye revolves around the same issue but also center around government control.
2. "The Waitress" and "Knocked Up" are two good movies to compare and contrast. Both are movies about unplanned pregnancies, so there are many themes in common, but the difference between the two lies in the relationship the women have with the person who got them pregnant, and how they approach single motherhood. At the end of "Knocked Up" the pot head deadbeat father reforms himself, but at the end of "The Waitress" the women decides that it would be better for herself and the baby not to have the father in her life...if I remember correctly.
