Has television gone straight down the crapper since the 90's? Has reality shows ruined tv?

Now that all the great sitcoms of the 90's have ending or are ending, all we have now are lame reality tv shows. I can't turn to one channel without seeing a "reality" show on it. And its not even reality. Its either a bunch of confrontational idiots getting thrown into a mansion together, or cameras following rich little snobs around. Its disgusting, and I can't stand it anymore. What happened to all the good sitcoms, gameshows, cartoons, etc.?

1. i totally agree....what happened to nicktoons too? disney what?! at least they still run Seinfeld but even the game shows suck ****
