Exhibits, Shows and Displays

The LCD displays on my cordless phones show broken letters and numbers and I can't read caller ID info. Why?

I have this problem with almost every LCD product I have, including calculators and a Dymo Letraset label maker. I have removed batteries, unplugged the phones, moved things to different rooms, but to no avail. Eventually, all LCD displays seem to get corrupted and show gibberish or broken characters. What is going on and can it be resolved?

2. Even if you change the battery and if its showing the same then its some problem with your hand set. was there any thunderstorm or lighting or power trips in your area, because all these would affect the life of electronic products
