How can I make my website so that while it loads it displays a loading sign?

OK, so I would like to know how to do that. I have the loading image all I need to know is the HTML or how to input it so that it displays this image while loading so people don't see it loading. SHORT: Instead of people seeing the site loading they see a loading image. Thanks in advance. Like when it is done loading it just jumps right to the page no loading after that if you know what I mean.
