  1. Thirty minute meals with Rachael Ray. And yes, I get a ton of ideas from it!
  2. Micheal Charelli Entertains. Quick meals aimed at friendly gatherings. His relaxed atmosphere when doing the prep makes it easy to write down instructions, recipes etc. He has been a great help.
  3. My favorite for help with cooking ideas is Michael Chiarello. Good food, and good presentation. And very laid back, which is my style.
  4. Good Eats with Alton Brown... Good recipes mixed with Food Science...
  5. I really enjoy Iron Chef. I do most watching than making the food. I would probably cook more if I had my own kitchen
  6. my favorite show used to be 30 minute meals and i still like it but now i really like paulas home cooking, her desserts are wonderful
  7. They are all great ! I love Paula's Home cooking and 30 min. meals oh, and Everyday Italian. Not only are the shows great for ideas but the cookbooks are great and the web site is endless!!! I'm kind of a need to see what it looks like before I make it kind of person and the foodtv web site has pictures of everything. Semi Homemade is a great one too if you're just looking for great ideas. Enjoy!
  8. I like barefoot contessa because her cooking style is just like mine, but get the feeling she is left home alone all the time by her husband. Giada (??)...I don't like her show. I don't get the impression that she really eats the food she cooks, and she pronounces a lot of the italian words WRONG. I thought she was italian. I love Alton Brown's shows. He gets to the point and teaches us something. I like Nigella cooks because she makes cooking look sexy. (that's a big deal coming from a female viewer). I do NOT like paula deen. Her recipes are TOO rich and fatty, she is brash, and I personally can't stand to watch her eat her own food.
  9. Molto Mario, Good Eats, Iron Chef P.S. Someone should definately whack Rachel Ray...Man she is bad Kharma.
  10. Alton Brown on "Good Eats" is so my hero! He has some great recipes and it's cool how he explains kitchen science ...
