My daughter and I are big fans of The Bachelor and Bachelorette reality TV shows. We were wondering if ?

there ever has been a Religious conflict between the Bachelors/Bachelorettes and their contestants? And, what religion is Jason Mesnick? I say he is Jewish -- my daughter says "no". I would like to think that as long as you are a good person and believe in God, that is all that matters.

1. I think that there was problems between DeAnna and Jesse, she is Greek Orthodox, while he was Jewish I believe. I don't really watch the show though.
2. Yes, I believe I read somewhere that Jason is Jewish, but since it doesn't seem to be an issue on the show I guess perhaps it doesn't figure greatly in his life at this time. Either that or all the women on the show are Jewish, which I highly doubt, but..... who knows?
