Approximately how much should i spend on Vegas(4 days) + LA(4 days) vacation, last week of december?

I stay in Chicago. I am worndering if i am spending too much, with a budget of $3000 on the whole trip, including air fare + hotel + food + car rental + tickets (includes only LA theme prks) + grand canyon tour + 200 extra. Am i spending too much.. am yet to buy tickets to las vegas shows.. if am spending too much already i wish to cut out some shows n do things for free in vegas.. (i wish to go for blueman group, cirque du soleil) Please Please suggest........ The expences are for 2 people.
