How can you attract butterflies?

I am taking my 10 month old baby to the butterfly exhibit at the museum. I have heard of some sort of lotion that can be used to attract butterflies. My son would be SOOO excited to have a butterfly land on him. Any suggestions or tips on attracting butterflies (or at least increasing our chances)?
