How much money do people on reality tv shows make? like do they get money for just being on the show?

Like with the people on the show I love money or Real World/Road Rules do they get money by being on the show, or do they only get money if they win?

2. I don't think they make any money, like on Survivor, America's Next Top Model, The Apprentice, Real World, Big Brother, American Idol and so on. They make nothing, so the producers and hosts make bank. I remember on the Real World one of the kids was fined a lot of money for breaking something one time, which I thought was cruel and unusual punishment considering how much money they're pulling in without gettig paid! Like on the Real World the only money they have for speding is made from the job they get hired to do every season (like in the Vegas one the girls were cocktail waitresses, or the other one on the island they all helped at a tanning salon, and there was another one where they were tour guides and so on). How cheap. But it does provide opportunity to make more money. Like most of the losers from America's next top model go on to successful modeling or acting careers, some have a chance to win money if it's like on Survivor, or the grand prize of whatever the show is based on. Some women like from Survivor ended up posing for Playboy, Elizabeth Hasselbeck got a gig on The View, Adrienne from America's next top model ended up marrying Christopher Knight who she met from another reality show and so on.
3. I know that on Big Brother a couple of seasons back that they got $750.00 per week to cover expenses while they were on the show.
