How do you sign up for reality tv shows?

You see all these new reality tv shows these days and I wonder how people find out about them to be able to sing up for them. How would you go about finding out about shows that are being made that you can sign up for?

1. okay on the ones where you have to look good (real world, top model, etc) or it's sorta about looks, usually you need to get into groups relating to acting or something where a producer or someone will send you an invitation to try out for the show. Go to CBS NBC ABC and there are also entry forms on those sites. Also type in the city you're in and put auditions after that and hit search, that's how i saw some shows turn up and I tried out for them. (didnt' make it) also check your local newspapers
