anyone know of any secrets to getting comps or special deals in Las Vegas?

basically ,i want to know how to get around and get all the special deals like free room,food,show tickets etc. my friend says he knows someone who gets everything and is not a real big gambler.

1. The key to getting comps is to make sure that all of your play is recorded by using a players card, whether at the tables or in the machines. The second part is to... ASK! After you have played, mosey over to the slot club booth and ask for what it is you are looking for whether it be a buffet meal or a free night. The worst that can happen is that they say no. More likely they will tell you where you stand and either give you the comp or tell you what you need to play to get it. They may say something like "Your play looks good and another hour will get you a comped room." An important thing to remember is that it is always better to play 4 hours at one casino then 1 hour at four. Also, comps are based almost entirely on the amount of play, not how much you won or lost. Another important fact is casino consider history to be important. It is much easier to get comps at a place where you have played before than at one where you are an unknown.

You have to use your player's card each time you put any money into the slot machine (you gain points quicker on slots than table games) The casino likes to see money circulated through the machines. You get comps and special deals based on your play. For instance, you may play penny machines at $5.00 a roll and someone else may play $1 machines at $1 per roll. More than likely, the penny player will receive more comps because they are circulating more money through the machine per roll. Good luck and get a players card!
