I am an alto, what are good audition songs for me? Preferably from shows, preferably Broadway shows?

Please don't suggest songs that are popular

1. "Almost Like Being in Love" from Brigadoon "Miss Celie's Blues" from The Color Purple Kind of old school, but good songs.
2. I don't know how old you are so it is a difficult question to answer. When auditioning, it's always best to pick a song(s) that the casting director will find believable for you to be singing. You might want to check out the following as they are all in the alto range and are meant to be sung by young adults.
