How to get to and park for Broadway shows?

I'm looking for a somewhat simple way to get to Broadway to see Les Mis.. I'm driving in on rt 80.. any ideas on a place to park without to much hassle and where to go from there? Can I park outside the city and catch a ride in somehow or just as I enter the city without having to deal with the hassle of NY driving?

  1. WOW!!! no car, ride the bus or subway...there will be absolutely no where to park and if there is, youll have to pay A LOT OF MONEY TO PARK THERE!!...and im not talkin about 10 to 15 dollars..more like $50!!
  2. almost anywhere in north jersey you can get a bus into the city, then just hail a cab, forget parking, it will cost you more than the show tickets and dinner.
  3. the theater district has alot of parking garages that run about $40 for the show- you could take the subway to Hoboken and park over on the Jersey side- Look on the Port Authority's website they have the maps of the subway lines
  4. The best way is to take the Bus or train. Not only does it get you there faster, it also saves time and is a whole lot cheaper.
