- Casting Call for the Broadway Musical Gypsy The casting directors for Gypsy are looking to cast three parts for the revival of the Broadway musical Gypsy: Baby June: A 7-10 year-old to play Rose's daughter who is constantly being groomed to be the next Broadway star. Seeking a cute, blonde, high-energy performer with a fantastic belt, who dances well, has gymnastic skills and is skilled at twirling a baton. Baby Louise: An 8-12 year-old to play an awkward girl with hidden strength who lives quietly in the shadow of her sister. Seeking a brunette who is fairly tall and can sing well. Newsboys: 8-12 year-olds to play boys that Mama Rose stole en route to LA for Baby June's vaudeville act. All must sing and move well. What to Bring to Gypsy Audition Each person will be required to sing one prepared song of traditional musical theater. All you have to do is bring the sheet music and there will be someone there to play it for you. Also, don't forget to bring your resume and headshots for the casting director to look over! Broadway's Gypsy Audition - Where to Go The Gypsy auditions will take place at the Ripley-Grier Studios, 520 8th Avenue 16th floor, New York, NY on Saturday September 13th, 2003. Both union and non-union girls will be auditioning at 10 AM and both union and non-union boys will be auditioning at 2 PM. So, if you think you've got what it takes to be on Broadway, get down to the Gypsy auditions and make things happen!
- I mean absolutely no offence when i say this. I am a young aspiring Broadway star too, but you need to realise what youre getting into. Tough business. More than tough. And you need to be professional about it and not post personal ads like this on here unless you've tried ever other outlet. And to me you seem like your more into cheer, passion4cheer. Sorry...just trying to save you heartache. Even the best broadway actors/actresses went through a tough time getting into the biz.

- Don't let people try to drag you down or condescend to you. You keep at it, if you have the passion for it, that's all you need. (lol, and of course talent, but I'm sure you're talented!)
