  1. Crazy Girls at the Riviera. Lots of T & A and plenty of that Vegas cheezy show feel. It feels like you're having a drink and a smoke with the Rat Pack
  2. Gotta see Lance Burton! Best Magician Ever!
  3. I'm all about getting the best bang for my buck..My favorite right now is Mystere, buy the tickets far enough in advance(up to 90 days) and you can get great seats for $60...The LVA site below has show info, reviews, prices etc and links to the hotel/show site when there is one. Another great show at a great price is Mac King at Harrah's. The tickets are $22 but if you pay full price you might be the only one in the showroom who did..They hand out 2-4-1's in the carnaval court, and or if you're a first time "total rewards" slot club member they will give you 2 tickets free. Larry G. Jones - Fitzgerald's at $22 this show is a steal, Jones IMHO is as good as Danny Gans($90) If you're into magic - Lance Burton is the best in town, but at $70 he's a little pricey.. You can see Dirk Arthur for $15 using the 2-4-1's in "Today in LV Magazine">available free. Another good one is Rick Thomas $27. American Superstars $42, but they have a 2-4-1 in their funbook>available at the club booth. This is a great show for $20.. Of course you can take in some of the free spectacles Fountains of Bellagio Fremont Street Experience Carnival in the Sky - Rio Sunset Stampede - Sam's Town Lion Habitat - MGM Volcano/White Tigers - Mirage Sirens of TI - Treasure Island Atlantis & Festival Fountain - Caesars Palace/Forum Shops A good site for LV info http://www.lasvegasadvisor.com
  4. mystere
  5. I go to Vegas two to three times a year - I love the shows. Without question, "O" is the most fantastic show you will ever see. I've seen every Cirque show except for the one in Disney Orlando, and nothing comes close. The show itself is "indescribable" and the cast performs the most unbelievable feats on land, in the air and in the water. The French word for water is "eau", pronounced "O", hence the name of the show. Go "O", you will not regret that decision. People loved Celine Dion - just not my cup of tea. The new Beatles/Cirque show, "Love" is at the Mirage. I plan on seeing that next month - it's gotten good reviews. As for a suggestion for another show, Mama Mia is great, and Danny Gans is superb. Either one of those would make your night. For fun we went to see the Neil Diamond tribute show at the Riviera - Jay White, the fellow that does Neil, is nothing less than perfect! His appearance, voice, clothes and moves ARE Neil Diamond. I thought that I was at a Neil Diamond concert. The room is rather small, maybe 200 people in the audience. We had a ball. You can get half-price tickets for this and many other shows at ticket outlets up-and-down the strip. The outlets are called "Tickets 4 Tonight" and they go on sale about 11:00 AM (first-come-first-served) for that night's performances only. Another good and reliable source for discounted shows are the books (such as "What's on in Las Vegas" or "Las Vegas 24/7") that are available in almost every hotel. Plus they give you info on places to eat and things to see. Blue Man at the Venetian is very unique, and the Sintas at the Rio is a very good family oriented show. The best free show is the Fountains at Bellagio - they perform every 15 minutes after dark - just spectacular. The pirates show at Treasure Island is also good. I strongly suggest that you take a 1/2 day away from the strip and go to Hoover Dam. That is quite a sight! There are many tour companies to chose from that will pick you up right at your hotel. Hope this helped.
  6. If you like 70s music, check this one out: http://www.myspace.com/originalidols
  7. You can't go wrong with any of the Cirque du Soleil shows. I've only seen Mystere, but I know people who've gone to the other ones and they loved them. I've also seen Le Reve at the Wynn and I liked it. The feats they do get somewhat repetitive, but it was enjoyable, nevertheless.
  8. Gladys Knight & also Wayne Newton for the old time Vegas show.
  9. Celine at caesars
  10. tournament of kings at the Excaliber. Includes dinner and fun entertainment!
  11. Phantom at the Venetian Hotel is my vote.
