What are some "must-see" shows in Las Vegas?
My husband and I are going to Vegas soon. We're a young couple, but we'll be taking my in-laws this time so just wondering what we should take them to see. We've already seen "Beatles Love-Cirque Du Soleil". Loved it! Any suggestions for some great shows to see?

- Screw the shows, go get a prostitute.
- To me Cirque Du Solei is the MUST see of Vegas...it used to be magic shows like Seigfreid and Roy but that was a long time ago and that show has been shutdown (sadly). Anyway I do not believe broadway shows like Mamma Mia, The producers, blue man group, etc. to be must sees in Vegas. they are good but just as good in NYC maybe even better. Cirque Du Solei shows are only in Vegas and therefore Must Sees. Of the many Cirque Du Solei shows I highly recommend O, Mystere, and Ka. O is probably the best for first timers, but the other two (ka is my favorite) are great as well. Zumanity should be your last pick. I've heard great things about Beatles LOVE, but if you're not a Beatles fan you may not appreciate it as much as others. Mystere has more of a circus theme, Ka is more of an asian-martial arts theme. O has a 1.5 million gallon pool as it's stage, and it's an amazing show... Have Fun! ~G
- I enjoyed Blue Man very much. Also, see Big Elvis for free in the afternoons at Bill's center strip.
- if you enjoyeed that one try "O" at the bellagio. barry manilow at thte hilton is pretty decent if you're into Manilow...puts on a good concert and I'm not a big fan of his. bette midler or elton john/ cher are otheres but expect to pay good money per ticket.
- I live in Vegas so I know a little bit about the popular shows. All the people I know who have seen Blue Man Group DIDN'T like it. My suggestions: Jubilee at Bally's for a real old fashioned production show. Penn and Teller at the Rio for a magic show. Tournament of Kings at the Excalibur for a jousting good time dinner show. Spamalot at Wynn. Ice:Direct fom Russia at the Riveria (great ice skating show in the Cirque format), and of course another Cirque show. I recommend "O" or "Mystere" Don't go to Ka. Heard it's crappy. You can see Elton John, Barry Manilow or other great headliners too. Have fun while you're here. Weather's beginnning to get warm so pack accordingly
- I loved Ka at the MGM, its really amazing... (not "crappy" as Carol above says, she must have "heard" wrong!) but to be honest you can't go wrong with any of the cirque du soleil shows that you choose! Have a great time...
- Must See Shows: 1. One of these Cirque shows: Ka, O, or Mystere. I prefer Ka and O a bit over Mystere but not by much. Mystere sometimes goes on discount. 2. Bellagio Fountains (free, best at night) 3. Possibly Danny Gans depending on age. Many younger people hate impressionists because they can't relate to impressions of people they don't know. Your in-laws might be old enough to appreciate him. If you check the reviews, they are extremely mixed with a pronounced split along age.
- Mystere the cirque at Treasure Island, pay the $100 per and gets seats in the middle section, buy popcorn and watch them become part of the show warm up. SpamaLot OR LeReve at Wynn Phantom of the Opera Anyone a Trekkie or Trekker, Star Trek Experience at Hilton Tournament of Kings (dinner show) Excalibur check out www.lasvegasnow.com for links and more ideas
- I loved KA. I agree, it was amazing and it was obvious they put alot of money into building that stage! And of course, try to catch O.
