What are the best free lounge shows in Las Vegas?

I don't mind paying for drinks, obviously. I'm looking for a place to relax, get a drink, and see some music. I remember the one at Paris being decent.

  1. I think it depends on the night of the week. I was at the Paris on a weeknight, and the act was so bad that my brother-in-law and I actually had to sit down because we were laughing so hard (well, my husband did too, but he was drunk so it doesn't count). They actually said "we are a live band" and then the said "wait, what's that I hear" as they broke into Jump. Way too Saturday Night Live Altadena Middle School for me. That's not to say on a different night they have much better. We caught a GREAT act at the Venetian - right off the casino floor, sort of a semi-circle area, not even really it's own room. We thought at first they were going to be really really cheesy but they were really really good. Rocked it out. My husband is super pickey and even he was impressed. Good Luck!!
  2. Check with the hotel you're staying at. There are usually ways to get free tickets to events at your hotel, especially if it's your first time staying there.
  3. For information on all of the free lounge acts in Las Vegas http://www.vegas.com/nightlife/lounges/ >Under "Lounge Schedule" click on "Complete Entertainment Schedule" IMO some of the best would include "Dueling pianos" - NY NY Phoenix - NY NY - very good band Big Elvis(Pete Vallee) - Bill's Gamblin Hall - The guy is actually pretty good, if you can get past the sight of a 350lb Elvis. "Dueling Pianos" - Harrah's The Orleans usually has a good band Caesars Palace & Bellagio always have talented entertainment. Ghalib Ghallab - is at Caesars Palace right now, he is a legend among LV lounge acts. ~Jack~
  4. Mandaly Bay has some good ones. but they roatate so the guests do not get bored. Why not try your luck that is part of this town.
  5. Fat Elvis at Bill's Gambling Hall (formerly Barbary Coast) Dealertainers at Imperial Palace Dualling pianos at Harrah's these are just some of the better among the all the others. check in the free magazine "What's On" for current acts
  6. If you like rock music, there's two good bands at the Big Apple Bar in NYNY. One is an all-girl cover band that's amazing. The second isn't bad, but I was too drunk to really remember them. BTW - "dueling pianos" at the Times Square bar at NYNY is VERY cheesy, but amusing!
  7. None of them are really good. The best one is the Latin Breeze (a Latin music band) at the Gold Coast off the Strip.
  8. I liked Bikini Bull Riding at Binion's.
