Broadway shows?
I might be going to New York in October. If I do go, what is a good broadway show to see while there?

- best one i have heard of is Wicked
- HAIRSPRAY OR WICKED! i saw both while in nyc they were amazing, if theyre sitll out, then definitely go. hairspray was 14578492o198457849302934854930239485784392 times better than the movie.
- Evil Dead- The Musical
- Definitely Wicked! Other good shows are Aida, Jekyll and Hyde, and Beauty and the Beast, though I am not sure which (if any) of those last three are playing now.
- In addition to the ones listed above you should see "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee". I saw it on tour and it was surprisingly wonderful. The title had always put me off it, but it's a great show and worth seeing!
- Wicked, Hairspray, RENT, and a few other shows are touring around the country right now. If you want my advice, go see a show that won't be around for a while, such as Spring Awakening or The Drowsy Chaperone...the latter was absolutely HILARIOUS! It was a VERY enjoyable show, and the acting, singing, and dancing were all amazing!
- Wicked or RENT!! Both are amazing. I've seen both more than once. The music is magical and breath taking. Trust me...u won't wanna miss them
- Wicked, Avenue Q, Movin Out, or Jersey Boys. They are all really good but it depends on what you like. My suggestion would be to look up the different plays and see what interests you the most. Also try going to off-broadway plays they are cheaper and just as good.
- I'd recommend Les Miserables or Cats (Cats doesn't have any sort of a plot; it sort of annoys me, but the choreography and music are amazing!) or Phantom of the Opera. That's a classic. Rent is great, basically anything. You really can't go wrong with musicals....okay, you can, but most of the ones you will see are really very good. Have fun!
