I need a non-combustible cover to stand above my funnel cake fryer when outside to keep out any debris. Ideas?

any ideas will be helpful, or if you know of someone who would be able to custom build it.

1. Get a section of screen door material, cut it to size, and then frame it. That should work.
2. you don't need to costum build anything. Just go out and get a Karmex bowl... I assume you plan on subjecting this whole thing to heat.
3. If your dong events (fairs,etc) check with your local health department to see what they will permit. You can have a HVAC company fabricate a Stainless Steel cover that can be mounted on some knd of approved framework. Stainless is normally acceptable for most all food prep areas.
4. What to put up depends on exactly how much you are talking about covering if its a larger area you could get a new or used stove hood for smaller areas a top to a kettle grill might do just fine you can also search for a pyrex dish or bowl that fits right another option might be to look for a stainless steel lid like those on some comercial kitchen appliances. just make sure whatever you use doesn't interfere with the kettles operation.
