Does anyone else become empathically distressed by watching violent reality tv shows?

Why does this happen and why do the images remain in my mind for days?

1. thats like me i actualy cany watch anything violent even lord of the rings because a horse gets shot!

Its called reality tv for a reason dear.Some people are stuck in cookoo land and need to wake up and smell the coffee.Theres allot of violent horrible stuff goes on in this world and its best to know the truth rather than ignore it.I know about all the violence that goes on ive seen it all first hand so seeing it on tv shows doesnt make me distressed,it only makes me more aware of what really goes on around the world.
4. Yes. It is a shock to your system and graphic images are not as easily forgotten. I stopped watching them.
5. absolutely .. u r watching the breaking of a commandment in progress basically. whether it is the "do unto others" or "shall not murder" .. etc. etc.
6. because its real and classed as entertainment when its not. I stopped watching it ages ago a s its the worst exploitation I know.
