Are reality TV shows getting a bit stale now?

We've had loads of these programmes on tv over the last couple of years, but are they all pretty much the same? Does anybody have any new suggestions for a new Reality show that hasn't been made before? Albert R: Do you have any suggestions on which celebrities to send?..lol Dave S: If they killed them off, what would your spoilers be then?

1. Unfortunately I think its the genre people are getting tired of, not just the content.
2. I've got a great idea. We take a load of "celebrities" , put them on a desert island, make them eat shit, then quietly turn all the cameras off and just leave them there to whine to each other until they die.
3. Reality shows are just like boy bands ......... we'll put up with them for a decade then they will slowly die off. Unfortunately TV loves reality shows because they are so cheap to produce.
4. I dont think that reality tv shows are getting a bit stale. Its just that they have always and i mean always been s***. who wants to watch people in their own homes or in a jungle or a house talking S*** all day. Probably only those who have nothing better in their lives to be getting on with.

6. Troll ice island. How about we take all the trolls and stick them on an iceberg, with no one else but miley cyprus singing to them for comfort.
7. Realtiy shows now are the same. Big brother is on its 9th series, and is garbish compared to other shows. I think its mostly those who just want fame rather than a bit of fun. I prefer reality shows with a difference. SAS are you tough enough was brilliant normal civvies going though selection why isnt there any more of these type of reality shows.

9. A nursing home would make an excellent venue for a reality TV show. I am sure it would open people's eyes!
10. What is wrong are all the eliminations. A very bad idea. Teaching people that it's OK & normal to just get rid of people. Programming us for the real thing, one day?
11. A bit stale ? They are rotting and mouldy - generally not fit for human consumption.
12. Getting? What do you mean GETTING stale??? They've been ridiculously overredundant for years!!!! Heres an idea, scrap all the 'reality' shows, and that includes big fecking brother, anything with the word 'celeb' in it, all the singing and talent crap, and all those bloody house/property/car boot sale/shi*e in the attic programmes and everything in between. Then what you do you fill the gaps in the TV schedule with decent documentaries on a number of subjects, from history to wildlife, to teach us something and try and drag this society back from being mindless morons, a LOT of drama programmes, a sprinkling of comedy sitcoms and a few films thrown in for good measure. Simple. Unfortunately it wont be done because TV execs know that the majority of people in this country are mindless idiots who are quite happy to sit and drool in front of the TV watching someone in another house sleep in their beds or eat porridge. Its pathetic.
