  1. To start, I'd like to mention that I just got done owning a computer in which I did the same exact thing (2 video cards in a Windows XP system). took me awhile to get it right, but, I'm very versed in this situation now. Hopefully I can help: If I'm understanding correctly, You are running 2 video cards in your tower. if this is true and XP isn't recognizing one of them try these 2 suggestions: 1. Go in to your device manager and look under "Display Adapters" see if both of your video cards are being recognized there. If so, check to make sure one isn't disabled and that they both have current drivers. 2. If it's not showing up there, try shutting down, remove the card that XP isn't recognizing, start back up, shut down again, and re-install the card in your tower. It will force XP to recognize the "new" card and follow the on-screen prompts for getting the driver installed. Most importantly, make sure the card is in fact seated correctly in whichever slot you have it plugged in to in your tower. A faulty connection between the card and slot on the motherboard can cause the computer to not recognize it. If these suggestions don't solve your problem, feel free to e-mail me at abush1707@yahoo.com. I'd be more than willing to help.
