where do you put the jack stands for a honda civic 2001 coupe?

this is for the front of the car. i want to jack up the car then put jack stands but i do not know where to position them. i do not have the owners manual.

1. the frame is always a good place
2. you want to put the stand on the strongest points and that would be on the front and sides of the car. In the front you can use the tow hooks and on the side there should be something like a small length piece of metal that comes down right behind the front tires on the both sides. Depending on how high you want you are going to have to jack it up very high.
3. Dont use something rounded ie. hooks unless u want to get hurt to put the weight of the car on use a flat peice of metal and not the oil pan

5. if you look by any of the tires, you will find a metal tab sticking out (downward). this is what i always use on mine and it is also where the book says to put the jack.
