- The Museum of Natural History has a range of exhibits from dinosaur fossils to example of animals from all over the world. There is a butterfly exhibit and a huge model of a blue whale hanging from the celling of the Milstein Family Hall of Ocean Life. The big globe inside the Rose Center for Earth and Space (formerly the Hayden Planetarium) houses an educational, and exhibition space as well as the Hayden planetarium itself. Take the "B" (orange line) or "C" (blue line) trains to 81 Street/Museum of Natural History. Follow sign that says "MUSEUM" to the museum entrance. I hope this information was very helpful. Enjoy your trip and Merry Christmas.
- It totally depends on what your interested in. Personally I really like the Hall of Ocean Life. It looks very realistic. You can never go wrong with the Reptiles and Amphibian exhibit, pretty interesting. The Rainforest and plant are also pretty neat. Dont miss the exhibit that shows the skeletons of ancient humans (forgot the name of it) Also, the Rose Center houses the Hayden Planetarium, another exhibit not to miss (go see the Big Bang inside the Globe, its a light show that leads to a giant timeline of the Big Bang. Pretty interesting. The whole museum is pretty cool, its just a matter of what interests you the most. The best advice if you want to see the whole thing is start on the top floor with the dinosaurs and work your way down.
- Besides what the others have said there is always a featured exhibit at the museum, the hall of minerals and gems is fascinating also to vidit if you like gems.
